The Department of International Relations of SHEI «Pereiaslav–Khmelnytskyi Hryhorii Skovoroda State Pedagogical University» has been operating on the basis of the university for more than 10 years. Within the framework of academic and scientific exchange, the department cooperates with universities, foundations, enterprises of Denmark, Germany, France, Spain, Turkey, Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Belarus, Moldova, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, China, USA, Canada, Portugal.

Today, the most intense ties are maintained with the Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic), Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic), Jan Dlugosz University in Częstochowa (Poland), Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture (Turkey), Danish Helsinki Committee for Human Rights and others.

Specialists of the Department of International Relations monitor and select international programs aimed at the personal growth of students, the formation of human-centric competencies, which are an integral part of the goals of the internationalization strategy of the secondary schools, the formation and improvement of key competences that, in accordance with the Law «On Higher Education», must have a specialist in the new generation.

The Department of International Relations provides all the necessary information on international programs of academic and cultural exchange, professional training and internships, volunteer programs abroad through information meetings, personal consultations, and placement of relevant proposals on the University’s web-site.

The specialists of the department conduct a competitive selection of candidates for participation in international programs according to the defined partner institutions, and provide support to applicants during execution of necessary documents and the entire period of participation in international programs.

Within the framework of non-academic programs of the international youth exchange, the department cooperates with the best Ukrainian and world agencies, which have proved themselves as reliable and faithful partners with many years of productive experience in this field.
